Nestled at the intersection of highway 24 and secondary highway 817 high on the banks overlooking the Bow River is the great community of Speargrass. We live in a golf resort east of Calgary and south of Strathmore. Speargrass Golf Course is an 18 hole par 72 course with spectacular views of the Bow River.
The course meanders in and around the homes of the residents. We have daily sightings of golfers, gophers, deer, rabbits, porcupine, prairie birds and water fowl. You can hear the coyotes in the evening.
